She was a homemaker and a member of Sardis Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Culpepper; her brothers, Clifford and Guy Bell; and her sisters, Clyde Bell Franklin and Emmie Lou Porter. Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Jewel Culpepper and Jo Culpepper, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church. Rev. Darnell Teal and Rev. Steve Dempsey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Prior to the services, her body will be placed in the church from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.
