Biography* | | Louise joined the Culpepper household as a nanny after the death of Samuel's first wife. She and Samuel were soon married.
Her Obituary from an unknown paper of unknown date: Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Baum community church for Louise Etta Brown, mother of V. C. Culpepper, Baum, who died at his home Monday. Mrs. Brown had been making her home with Mr. Culpepper since 1932, soon after her husband passed away. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. McCullum, pastor of the Ardmore Church of Christ, officated at the funeral service. Interment was at Lone Cedar Cemetery with Watts funeral Home of Madill in charge. Surviving are Mr. Culpepper of Baum; Charley Culpepper, Lendsay, Texas, and 11 grandchildren.9 |
