Clark County

County History and Geography

In the Ouachitas Region of western Arkansas, Clark County was formed in 1818 from Arkansas County. Its county seat, Arkadelphia, is on I-30, about 60 miles southwest of Little Rock. Clark is bounded by the counties of Hot Spring, Dallas, Ouachita, Nevada, Pike and Montgomery.
