She was the widow of Grady Lee Culpepper. Surviving are two sons, James D. of Gretna, La., and Donald C. of Carlisle, and four
grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Bernadette Catholic Church of Houma. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, La. Of Peter's sons, only Mason was old enough to have been Mary's father.

It is also possible that Mary was the daughter of Peter's daughter Elizabeth, and a Mr. Hickman. In other words, Hickman could have been her maiden name.
