Rose had 4 children (actually 5, 1 was still born) born in Augusta, Georgia; CDR Martin Burke Betts (1926-2008, buried in Arlington National Cemetery), Millard Hugh Betts, Jr. (1930-1946), Hugh Betts (I don’t have his birth/death dates) and Dorothy Betts (my mother). Millard died 3 days after his 16th birthday in a motorcycle accident in North Augusta, SC. I don’t remember Hugh’s birth/death year, but he died a few years before Martin did in 2008. Hugh lived in Cathedral City, CA. Dorothy, my mother, died in 2016.2
