Services will be held Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Zebulon Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J.C. Turner and the Rev. E.T. Horton officiating. Visitation was at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy Saturday, March 22, 2003 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a one-hour lie-in-state at the church prior to the service. Mrs. Culpepper was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Lee "Pete" Culpepper and her parents Elmer and Luanza Allen. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Eleanor (Culpepper) and Rex Andress of Enterprise and daughter Debbie (Culpepper) Edwards of Banks; grandchildren Tonya Ray, Dana Edwards, John Dunn, Daniel Edwards, Dustin Edwards and Trey Andress; great-grandchildren Raeleigh Beaty, Teralyn Dunn, Andrew Nolin, Tyler Dunn and Kyle Ray; two sisters and brothers-in-law Leona and J.C. Turner of Troy and Dixie and Hillery Shehane of Brundidge; two brothers and sisters-in-law Charles and Evelyn Allen and David and Bertha Allen, all of Banks; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers include Trey Andress, Lee Allen Beaty, John Dunn, Daniel Edwards, Dustin Edwards and Steven Ray. Mrs. Culpepper will be buried at Sandfield Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be given to a favorite charity.1 |
