Obituary*23 Dec 2007 West Monroe, LA. Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle Green, 93, of West Monroe, will be Monday, December 24, 2007, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gordon "Skip" Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
     Born December 29, 1913, in Laurel, MS, she was the last surviving daughter of the late Oscar and Sara Strahan. She passed away Friday, December 21, 2007, in West Monroe. A homemaker and long-time member of the Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe.
     She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dallas Culpepper, in April, 1966, and by 4 sisters and 9 brothers.
     Survivors include 2 daughters, Elaine Henry and husband, AC, and Loraine Ray and husband, Travis; 2 sons, Bobby Culpepper and Billy Culpepper and wife, Patricia; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
     Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, December 23, 2007, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Online condolences may be sent to www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.1
