Roy Southern will officiate. The interment will follow at Alabama Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Culpepper was born April 4, 1942 in Jamestown, LA to Arthur "Dude" and Ruby Woodall Culpepper. He entered into rest on March 4, 2013, in Ruston, LA. Mr. Culpepper accepted the Lord at the age of 8 in Shreveport, LA. He later moved his letter to Jamestown Primitive Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by parents Arthur and Ruby Culpepper and his first wife Linda Kaye Culpepper, brother-in-law Donnie Hoenke, Shirley Hoenke and niece Kimberly Beard. He is survived by his wife Ruth Culpepper of Jonesboro, LA, sons, Bradley Shane Culpepper and wife Melissa of Heflin, LA, Adam Clay Culpepper and fiancé Cheryl of Fryeburg, LA, Billy Montgomery and wife Penny of Jonesboro, LA, daughters Amanda Culpepper Guthrie and husband Brian of Fryeburg, LA, Mary Kay Schoonover and husband Rusty of Simsboro, LA, Becky Norred and husband John of Choudrant, LA, sisters Catherine Beard and husband Stan of Arcadia, LA Karen Dendy and husband Bruce of Bernice, LA, grandchildren Alyssa Culpepper, Morgan Culpepper, Adam Culpepper, Amber Culpepper, Sara Beth Culpepper, Raylee Guthrie, Hunter Guthrie, Haylee Guthrie, Cody Montgomery, Sam Montgomery, Jordan Kees, Megan Schoonover, Wesley Norred, Levi Nailes, great-grandchild Ayden Levi Uzzle, brother-in-law Bobby Hoenke of Arcadia, LA, sister-in-law June Hall and husband Murray of Jonesboro, LA and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 24, 2013 from Gray Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Joel Watson officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m until service time on Sunday. Burial will follow in Sandfield Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Gene Culpepper and grandson Chance Ezelle. She is survived by daughter, Mona (David) Osburn; sons, Ricky (Natalie) Ezelle and David (Tina) Ezelle; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Dixie West; brother, George Harden; and her beloved pet, "Candi", as well as numerous family and friends.
