Research note* | | I am trying to find birth, death, & Marriage proof on John Dobson b 1761 in Abingdon Parish [Gloucester Co., VA] and his 2nd wife, Susan Chandler. He first married Suzanne Stokes nee Shackelford, had son John Jr who died in war of 1812. Then, c 1824 married Susan E. Chandler b c 1800 in Norfolk VA. They had 4 children (per copy of his will): Rebecca, Martha Ann, Joseph Henry (the youngest), and my descendent Mary Frances.
