Biography* Jesse Kirk b. 1762 (my 4x grandfather) was a son of Stephen Kirk. It has been passed down through the family that he and two of his brothers came to PA around 1762 from Ireland. I have not been able to prove this. Around 1799 Jesse and his family moved to Jackson Co. GA and then on into Jasper Co. GA in the early 1800's. He died 1834 in Pike Co. GA.
