Tom Hilyer officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Weogufka. Mr. Culpepper died Jan. 15 at Russell Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Arrie Culpepper Wilson; his stepfather, William "Aud" Wilson; his sister, Gladys Marlowe; and his grandson, Zach Culpepper. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sarah Culpepper of Hollins; sons, David Culpepper of Gainesville, Ga., Danny Culpepper of Goodwater and Joseph Culpepper of Moody; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bill Morton, Daryl Perry, Lenn Perry, Josh Culver, Mark Stokes and Chris Culver. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers-in-law, French Perry, Mac McBryar, Ernest Perry, Leonard Perry and Jimmy Culver. You may contact the family at www.radneysmith.com.
