Although the family originally stopped at Moody, TX, they moved to Jud in Haskell County, TX, where William Ray was a tenant farmer on the J. F. Jones farm from 1906 to 1944. The town, near Rule, TX, no longer exists. William was a member of the school board and the Methodist Church. When William Ray retired from farming, he and Ruby moved to Rochester, TX. |
