She was born April 9, 1928, in Brussels, Belgium to the late Augusta Arnoys DePauw and Adolph DePauw. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1949.
She was preceded in death by husband Thomas "Tom Ben" Benjamin Culpepper, son Ben and daughter Gloria Lynn Culpepper.
Survivors include son Frank (Nelda) Culpepper and daughter Becky (Will) Slade, all of Eufaula; son Mike (Donna) Culpepper of Columbus, Ga. and daughter Linda Dimitri of Smiths Station; grandchildren Christina, Andrew, Mary Margaret, Weston, Cory, Bradley and Josh Culpepper, Tuffy (Richard) Taylor, Denny (Jodi), Stevie (Shannon), Ben (Jill), Jonathan and Shane Hardy and Clayton and Sam Slade and Alanna and Hanna Beall and brother Morris (Rose) DePauw of Granite Falls, N.C. and 10 great-grandchildren.2 |
