Arlene I. White, 93, of Pompano Beach, Florida, and formerly of Norfolk, VA, passed away September 2, 2004, in Chesapeake, VA. A native of North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Bennie and Martha Curry, and the widow of Clinton G. White. She retired from High's Ice Cream as a Store Manager after 19 years of service. She was a member of Brentwood Baptist Church in Norfolk. She is survived by her daughter, Ivar L. Culpepper of Chesapeake, VA; and two sons, Tommy M. Thomas, Sr. and Clinton G. White, Jr., both of Pompano Beach, FL. She is also survived by a sister, Mina Delbridge; and a brother, Ryland Curry, both of Nashville, TN; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Newman officiating. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel is handling arrangements.1 |
