Biography* | | Obituary: Mrs. Grace J. Culpepper, 82, of Jacksonville died Tuesday, September 30, 1997 in a local hospital. A native of Hastings, FL, Mrs. Culpepper had resided in Jax. for 58 years. She was a longtime employee of the Panama Pharmacy on N. Main St. and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ernest J. Culpepper in 1980. She is survived by 2 children, Robert L. & Nancy Culpepper, Betty & Fred Mercer; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3, 1997 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery (Gate 2) with Rev. Phillip Crump officiating. There will be no visitation however, the casket will be open at the cemetery from 10:00-10:45 AM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association in Mrs. Culpepper's memory.
