Geneva was born on September 7, 1924 to Fredric "Vern" & Ethel Gibbons Carter in Mona UT. She married Warren H (Dick) Culpepper on November 16, 1946. They spent 69 glorious years together. They spent many years of their marriage traveling the world due to Dick’s position in the US Air Force. After retiring they settled in Provo, UT in 1976. Geneva was an amazing woman with many talents, but the talent she was most recognized for was her service to others. She never hesitated to put herself last and others first. Geneva was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching and attending games, especially those of her grandkids. Geneva is survived by her husband Dick, Midwest City, OK; sister, Elma Sperry Spanish Fork UT; 3 sons, Thomas (Nancy) Culpepper, Huntsville AL; Bud Caress, Anchorage AK; Jim Caress, NM; Daughter; Diane Bowers, Midwest City OK; Daughter/Granddaughter, Kimberly (Rusty) McGee Choctaw, OK; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer (Erik) Lundrigan Provo UT; Chelsea Culpepper NY; Elijah Culpepper China; 4 great-grandchildren and many wonderful nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Owen Carter; son, Rick Culpepper. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11am at the Edgemont South Stake Center, 350 E 2950 N Provo UT. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to funeral. Interment will in the Mona Cemetery at 2:30 pm. |
