Paulding County

History
In the Piedmont Region of Georgia,
Paulding County was formed in 1832 from Cherokee
County. Its county seat,
Dallas, is on
US-278 about 35 miles west of Atlanta. Paulding is bordered by the counties of
Bartow, Cobb,
Douglas, Carroll,
Haralson and Polk.
