1832 Gold Lottery
The names below are
only for the 40 acre Gold lots, which were only the southeastern part of the
Cherokee land. There was a separate 1932 lottery for the balance of the land
(see below). All land was awarded in Cherokee County which was then quickly
divided into ten different counties.

Culpepper House (B&B),
Senoia, Coweta Co, GA. "Step back 120 years to casual Victorian elegance at the
Culpepper House. Enjoy a four-poster, canopy bed next to a fireplace, with sounds of the
night coming through the window... Wake to a gourmet breakfast then take a tandem bike
ride through the historic town, visit area shops and picturesque countryside, or just sit
on the porch and rock. Only 30 minutes from Atlanta. Dr. John Addy, a returning
Confederate soldier, built the original structure of Culpepper House in 1871. Set among
lovely oaks already a century old, Dr. Wilbur Culpepper, faithful physician to the Senoia
area for more than five decades, built the gracious Victorian home as it now appears, and
deeded it to his wife Kate as a gift at the turn of the century." Barb Storm &
