She became a naturalized citizen in 1920 and returned to Barbados on a visit for an unknown duration, re-entering Ellis Island on 6 Dec 1923, specifying her residence as 148 W 73rd St, New York, NY.

household of John H. Abeal (A widowed white male, age 73) at 148 W 73rd St:
