     Ms. Culpepper was born and raised in Highland Falls, N.Y., and after traveling with her husband, who was in the USAF for 20 years, moved to Key West in 1963, where she resided until her death. She had worked as a procurement clerk at the Navy Exchange at Naval Air Station Key West before retiring with 20 years of service.
     She was preceded in death by a brother, sister, daughter Linda J. Oliver, and son John W. Culpepper Jr.
     Survivors include daughters Deborah (Stephen) Chapman, Marlene (Bill) Porter, Rebecca Davila and Catherine Culpepper; son Frederick (Sherry) Culpepper; grandchildren, Lisa M. (George) Grigsby, Kelly Oliver (Scott) Dykes, James R. (Lana) Fatzinger, Keith (Penny) Cline, Kevin (Hilda) Cline, Michael (Stacy) Cline, Bill (Cyndy) Porter III, Brian (Taryn) Porter, Amy (Greg) Soverel, Scott (Barbara) Mvrick, Bryan Culpepper, Jennifer Cervantes, Jason Watkins and Lauren Culpepper; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
     Viewing is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Castillo and Thurston Key West Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service at Southern Keys Cemetery on Big Coppitt Key.2
