Tulia, Texas-- Mary Susan Featherston was born on April 18, 1946 to Verna and Waymon Featherston and was a caring and devoted daughter, always a beautiful child and then young woman. Susan graduated from Tulia High School in 1964. Susan graduated from Mrs. Wades and was a fashion model in New York for a short time. Susan went back to school and graduated with a Masters in Business degree in 1984 and taught for a time at West Texas State University. Later in her life Susan founded Kalila Egyptian Arabians, a successful and much loved family business. Susan is responsible for the continuation of several famous Egyptian bloodlines.
Susan Featherston, my mother, fell asleep in Christ on June 1, 2008. She was
62 years of age.
She is survived by her daughter, Lauren Featherston and preceded in death by her mother and father.

God smiled and His rose bloomed and God smiled and His rose slept. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Larry Stewart officiating.

Born September 5, 1937 in Bostic, North Carolina to Andrew and Ethel Dailey she was a lifelong resident of the Winter Haven area. She was a Baptist and retired as a fruit inspector for W.G. Rowe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O.B. Culpepper and a son, Randy Culpepper.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Sapp and her husband, Jimmy of Winter Haven; two sons, Gary Culpepper and his wife Gloria of Winter Haven and Ronnie Culpepper and his wife Cheryl of Winter Haven; a sister, Barbara Copeland of Winter Haven; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm till 2:00pm, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm, followed by interment at Auburndale Memorial Park.4
