     "In 1918 he was in Toledo Ohio, working as a male nurse, his WWI draft registration shows this information. He says he was a veteran of the US Army. It also gives proof of his middle name. The Hargers were neighbors of the Braces in Michigan and they had a daughter named Mary who was about 7 years younger than Charles. I have used that information to show Mary as Charles' wife and Romaine's mother. This may or may not be correct but is a good guess."

Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Ms. Culpepper, 83, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Williams and Barbara Culpepper; sons, Thomas Culpepper Jr. and Gregory Culpepper; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.4
