Arthur Frank Dease, 68, of Linwood, Route 1 died in a local hospital Thursday after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock from Ramah Church with Rev. C. W. Sheppard and Rev. R. Stukey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McGehee Funeral Home directing. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. A. R. Dease, Linwood, Rt. 1; two sons, Lee Edgar Dease, Quitman O. Dease of Linwood Rt. 1; six daughters, Mrs. Joe Oakes and Mrs. Waldo Graddy of Linwood Rt. 1; Mrs. William Stuart of Phenix City, Mrs. John Stuart of Glenwood Rt. 1; Mrs. James Culpepper and

Mr. Brewer passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Seminole Memorial Hospital. He was born October 4, 1930 to Emma (Culpepper) and Loris Brewer, Sr. in Lytton Springs, Texas. He married Lanore Brewer in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 11, 1963. He was a Baptist.

L.O. worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Gaines County for twenty years, from 1969 to 1989, and retired with the Department. He enjoyed horse races and hunting, and he made poker his passion. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.

L.O. Brewer is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lanore, on December 19, 2013; and one brother, Grady (1932-1969).

He is survived by two daughters, Vicki Jensen and husband Lynn of Lubbock, Texas and Pam Burrell and husband Dannie of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Loris Brewer, Jr. and wife Mary of Lockhart, Texas; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.2
