Obituary*3 Aug 2004 Eva A. Culpepper, age 92, of West Frankfort, passed away August 1, 2004 at 5 a.m. at the Franklin Hospital in Benton. She was born January 28, 1912 in Rosiclare, Illinois to Clyde Stone and Della ( Cowsert ) Stone. She was married to Logan Culpepper on July 6, 1929 and he preceded her in death in 1956.
     She is survived by three sons, Bill Culpepper and wife, Georgia, Kenneth Culpepper and wife, June and Sam Culpepper and wife, Judy all of West Frankfort. two daughters, Edra Walker of West Chicago, Ill. and Jeannetta Brooks of Canvas, West Virginia. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; three sisters, Jewel Davis and husband Stan of Price, Utah, Ruth Heino and husband, Dan of Helpex, Utah and Gladys Wright of West Frankfort, and four brothers, Baine Stone, Gene Stone and wife, Ruby and Bob Stone and wife, Erma all of West Frankfort and Jack Stone and wife, Pat of Marion, Il. and several nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Logan and by an infant sister.
     Mrs. Culpepper was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in West Frankfort and had worked as a nurses aid for a nursing home in Wheaton, Il. for many years.
     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 11a.m. at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort with Rev. Alan Summers officiating Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday to the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the Parker-reedy Funeral Home.2 
Burial*4 Aug 2004 Her body was interred on 4 Aug 2004 at Jones Cemetery, West Frankfort, Franklin Co., Illinois.2
