"Sheilagh Dagmar Gertrude Hand was born in 1913 in India, lived in Australia for many years in Sydney NSW. She eventually died in 2005 in Canberra Australia at the age of 92 of dementia, I knew her very well. "Her sister's daughter Una Bird is my cousin. "I have a small film of Dennis and my uncle when they were on a fishing expedition on the Brahmaputra river in India. "My mother remembers him as a very nice gentleman." On 1 May 2012, Richard followed up with an inquiry about Catherine Mary Culpeper of India (who is unknown to Culpepper Connections): "Catherine Mary Culpeper of India was born around 1860's and married Samuel Charles Starling of India. "I was wondering if Dennis Culpeper of India was related to Catherine Mary and why I ask is that Dennis was a great friend of my Dad and his brother Terence who all lived in India. "Sheilagh Hand was married to Dennis but they had no children that I know of and Colleen Hand, Sheilagh's elder sister, was married to a son of Catherine Mary Culpeper and Samuel Charles Starling.
