Miss S. lived across the road from my grandmother. Mrs. Johnston and Miss S. would come over and argue with grandma about family gen. I listened to many stories and some heated disagreements. Think that was what sparked my interest. To this day I do not know why I didn't ask grandma who her grandmother, Rebecca's parents were or who Elizabeth Powers parents were. Elizabeth lived with W.L. and grandma knew her. Elizabeth died from Bright's disease in grandma's house. s. |
