Barsheba was listed in the 1820 Nash County census with a son under ten years old, whose identity is otherwise unknown, and who was probably this John. Also, Alexander Culpepper, another son of John and Barsheba, was living in Greene County, AL, in 1830. In his household that year was an otherwise unidentified male aged 15-20. This was probably this John, who would have been age 19, and his younger brother. |
