New Mexico,
Santa Fe County was established in 1852 as an
original county. Its county seat,
Santa Fe, is also the state capital and is on I-25, about 60 miles northeast of
Albuquerque. Santa Fe is bordered by the New Mexico counties of
Rio Arriba, Mora, San Miguel, Torrance, Bernalillo,
Sandoval and Los Alamos.
