History
In the central region of
New Mexico,
Bernalillo County was established in 1852 as an
original county. Its county seat,
Albuquerque, is at the intersection of I-40 and
I-25. Bernalillo is bordered by the New Mexico counties of
Sandoval, Santa Fe, Torrance, Valencia and Cibola.
