Lincoln County
County History and Geography
In the Timberlands Region of southern Arkansas, Lincoln County
was formed in 1871 from Arkansas, Bradley, Desha,
Drew and Jefferson counties. Its county seat,
Star City, is on US-425, about 70 miles SSE of Little Rock. Lincoln is
bounded by the counties of Jefferson,
Arkansas, Desha,
Drew and Cleveland.
