Survivors include his wife, Dolores Cooper Cooper of Moultrie; one daughter, Lorinda Stacey Ellis and husband James of Moultrie; one son, Mark Edwin Cooper and special friend Cathy Causey of Moultrie; six grandchildren, Brittany Marshall and husband Mike, Heather Pate and husband Roy II and Jayme Cooper, all of Moultrie, Jennifer Williams and husband Jarod of Norman Park, Shyann Tucker of Doerun and Marlea Cooper of Albany; four great-grandchildren, Michael Marshall II, Addison Pate, Britton Marshall and Leona Marshall; three brothers, the Rev. Johnny Cooper and wife Darlene and Selmer Lee Cooper Jr. and wife Mary, all of Moultrie and Donnie Cooper and wife Charlotte of Tifton.1 
Burial*say 24 May 2012 His body was interred say 24 May 2012 at Rose of Sharon Baptist Cemetery, Colquitt Co., Georgia.1
