Obituary*25 Sep 2014 THOMSON, Ga. - Michael Lynn Culpepper, 55 years old, entered into rest on September 23, 2014 at Thomson Manor Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park this Friday, September 26, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. with Mr. Donnell Starrett officiating. Michael graduated from Statesboro High School in 1978 and lived in Statesboro in his younger years. He was an avid runner, participating in the Special Olympics and the High School Track Team. He also enjoyed playing the drums. His favorite performer was Elvis and he loved to impersonate him in local singing contests. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis E. Culpepper. Survivors include his mother, Lois E. Culpepper; sisters, Mryna E. Culpepper and Susan Renea Soos and her husband Anthony D. Soos. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until the hour of the service at the funeral home on Friday. Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, 2502 Richmond Hill Road, Augusta, GA 30906.4

     Mr. Culpepper passed away on Monday, Aug. 13. He was born on June 27, 1982, to Raymond Elwyn and Debra Lee Zaremba Culpepper. He worked for Swift Transportation. He was a loving husband and father.
     He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Forrest Elwyn Culpepper.
     Survivors include his wife, Donna Leann Culpepper; a son, Alexander Tyler Culpepper; a sister, Danielle (Jason) Goodno; his mother, Debra Lee Culpepper; his father, Raymond ?Buster? Culpepper; his father- and mother -in-law, Gregory and Pamelia Schwall; two sisters-in-law, Kristina Marie Schwall and Jayne Schwall; and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Schooler and Gregory Schwall Jr.1
