     SWEETWATER -- Stephanie Francis Hambrick, age 38, of Possum Kingdom, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in Dallas, Texas.
     Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2006 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Sweetwater with the Reverend Ward Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuxedo, Texas. Arrangements have been entrusted to McCoy Funeral Home, Inc., of Sweetwater.
     Stephanie was born on July 4, 1967 in Fisher County, Texas. She married Paul Hambrick on August 14, 1999 in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a homemaker. Attended School at Rotan, Roby and McCaulley. She had lived at Possum Kingdom for the past 3 years and in Roby before that.
     She had a long fight with lung complications. Ten years ago she contracted COPD and on February 10, 2005 she received a double lung transplant. We last were able to enjoy her beautiful smile 11 months before God took her home.
     She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenneth Ross Culpepper in 1971, and her step father, Carl Oliver in 2004.
     Survivors include: her husband, Paul Hambrick of Possum Kingdom, Texas; mother, Peggy Culpepper Kimbrell and husband, Ted of Sweetwater; father, Jerry Stevenson of Stamford, Texas; three sons, Cody Polk and Chelsie Thane of Abilene, Michael Polk and Becky of Possum Kingdom, and Tyler Polk of Leonard, Texas; two daughters, Myia and DeShay Hambrick of Possum Kingdom; brother, Nicky Stevenson; sister, Stacy Stevenson; step brother, Marc Kimbrell; step sister, Tracy Antonucci; maternal grandmother, Twila Culpepper of Sweetwater; and mother & father-in-law, Patsy & John Hambrick of Sweetwater.
     Pallbearers will be Chad Davis, Jeremy McArthur, Terry Daniel, Mitch Whitefield, Cody Clapper and Shaylor Flow.
