TESTON, a parish in the hundred of TWYFORD, lathe of AYLESFORD, county
of KENT, 4 miles (W. by S.) from Maidstone, containing 259
inhabitants. The church, dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul, is a
remarkably small structure. It stands on the banks of the Medway, over
which there is a fine bridge of seven arches.
Location: On Tonbridge Road (the A-26), about 3.5
miles WSW of Maidstone and 10 miles N of Goudhurst.
