The original version of the following typescript of the Charles William Culpepper Bible record can be found on microfilm in the LDS Library in Salt Lake City. (For purposes of consistency on Culpepper Connections, the date formats have been changed.) At the time the typescript was made by Mrs. James Byrn in January 1963, the Bible was in the possession of Mrs. Charles Adney McSwain of Puryear, TN. Mrs. McSwain died in 1975. The current (1999) owner according to Darin Stark is probably Darin's mother-in-law, Anne McSwain. A notation in the typescript indicates that "the backs are gone but the title page was found with the records. It was published by the Baptist Book Store, Memphis, TN, copyright 1885."
