Warren County
History
In the south
central part of Kentucky's Pennyrile Region,
Warren County was formed in 1796 from
Logan County. Its county seat,
Bowling Green, is on
I-65 about 140 miles southwest of Lexington and 50 miles north of Nashville. Warren is bordered by the counties of
Butler, Edmonson, Barren, Allen, Simpson and Logan.
