Note: The above two Culpeppers died on the same day
in the same place and had a residence in Michigan. It seems likely that
this was a married couple who were involved in a fatal automobile
accident. Also note that Louisville (Jefferson Co.) is on I-75, a major
north-south route from Michigan to Florida. Since this couple has not been
identified and since there are numerous African-American Culpeppers in
Michigan who are not in our family tree, this couple is presumed to be
African-American.
