Hickman County
History
In the Jackson
Purchase Region at the western tip of Kentucky,
Hickman County was formed in 1821 from Caldwell and
Livingston Counties. Its county seat,
Clinton, is on
US-51, about 280 miles WSW of Lexington. Hickman is bordered by the Kentucky counties of
Fulton, Carlisle and Graves, as well as by Mississippi
Co., MO.
