Geary County

History
In northeastern Kansas,
Geary County was formed in 1889 from Davis County. Its county seat,
Junction City, is on
I-70 about 110 miles north of Wichita and immediately south of the Fort Riley
Military Reservation. Geary is bordered by the counties of
Riley, Wabaunsee, Morris, Dickinson and Clay.
