     Thomas Colepepyr of Aylesford in the County or may have of Kent Gentleman being sick and weak in body but sound of mind and perfect memory and having a ***** to give and dispose of such worldly goods and personal estate as I now have or may **** beyond ***at the time of my death do hereby make and declare this my proper Last Will and Testament therein manner and form following. But first & especially Lord I give and resign into thy most merciful hands my sinful soul most humbly desiring even for the death merits & His sufficient sacrifice of the son Christ my alone & only Saviour that it will please the O Lord to ****** the same being purified & purged from sin by Him my only saviour to receive ****the same *** the number of thy **oi* and I will my body to go to the Earth from whence it came and to be buried in such decent place and manner as shall seem fit unto my Executrix hereafter named in this my said personal Last Will.

:TAB:Item I give and bequest unto the poor of the parish of Aylesford aforesaid the sum of Twenty shillings to be distributed amongst them by my Executors at the day of my burial in such manner as it shall deemed fit unto my said Executor and whereas brothe[r in Law Mr John Witheringe (John Witheringe) is **** possessed of ***ine lease for years nethertheless in trust & to and for my life of and in certain Lands lying and in B***minster and S**ster in the county of Leicester and **** I my*** wife possessed of & ***** goods chattels plate ready money bills bonds fees for years also and all my estate, interest, rights, tythe *** trust and demanded of or into the said lease & other the ****** & into *** or any of them my debts funeral & legatees aforesaid first being satisfied paid & discharged unto my loving brother Sir William Colpepyr Baronet (Sir William Culpeper of Preston Hall in Aylesford, 1st Bart.) whom also I do hereby nominate and appoint sole & only Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke and ***** all forms & other Wills or Testaments at any time whereas to before made or declared by me and in writing thereof & that this my Last Will I have hereunto set my hand & seal the Twentieth day of December in the fourteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord Charles by the Grace of God King of England Scotland France and Ireland defender of the faith.
