     I Dame Mary Culpeper Widow do make and Ordain this my Last will and Testament in manner and form following.
     First I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Heavenly Father to Jesus Christ my other Saviour to the Holy Ghost my Gracious Comforter to be saved amongst the elect families of God by and through the only merits of my Saviour Christ Jesus and my body to be buried in the Parish Church of Aylesford in Kent and as touching my Worldly goods...
     I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas (Thomas Culpeper of Aylesford) Thirty Pounds in Money and do appoint my Executor to pay him Thirty Pounds upon my Bond and also I give him the Great piece of Hanging in the Dining Room, two Guilt Spoons, the great Guilt Bowl, the Silver Turin and a Plaster Plate and a Chest of Linen.
     I give and bequeath to my Son Richard (Richard Culpeper) one Silver Bowl. One little Plate, Two Spoons, Four pairs of Sheets, Two table Cloths. Three dozen of Napkins and I give between him and my son Thomas the Beds and Bed Spreads furnished **** ton.
     Item, I give unto my Daughter Mary (Mary Culpeper) my broad Silver Pot, Two Solid Spoons.
     Item, I give unto my Daughter Francis (Frances Culpeper) the Marlin Cup, the pouring two Spoons of Silver and I give unto her and my said Daughter Mary between them the Bed and Bedstead furnished in the next Chamber to that I lye on.
     Item, I give to my Executor 10 Pounds and 10 Pounds more and have Appointed my Daughter Mary to be *****.
     Item, I make and ordain my Son no1 to be my Executor and do give and Bequeath unto him all the rest of my goods , my debts and funeral discharged and all my plate and household stuff whatsoever and not herein before given.
     In witness whereof I have sett my hand and Seal the 27th Day of October 1618.
