That is to say First I assign my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body I commit to the Earth to be buried at the discretion of my Dear and loving Wife and Executrix (Judith (?)) and as to all and every my Goods and Chattels Effects and Estate whatsoever I give and bequeath the same and every part therof to my said wife Judith Culpeper and I do make and ordain her solo Executrix of this my will In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this Eighth day of our June 1732 Edm Culpeper. Signed and published by the said Edmond Culpeper for and as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us Thomas Sanwall Edward Poriam

This will was proved at London before the Worshipfull Edward Simpson Doctor  of Laws and Surrogate to the Right Worshipfull John Bottoworth Doctor of Laws and Master Speaker or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully ‘rustitutody the twenty third day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Seven by the oath of Judith Culpeper widow the Relic of the Deceased and solo Executrix named in the said Will to whoem administration of all and singular the goods chattels and Credits of the said deceased was granted being first sworn duly to administrator.1,2
