- Sacred Service of Ordination and Consecration for Ms. Brenda Joyce Culpepper
On Saturday September 26, Prophet Brenda Joyce Culpepper was ordained at the First United Methodist Church in Stamford, Connecticut.
Prior to her ordination, Ms. Culpepper, who is known as the “Drama” prophet, trained for 8 years under Master Prophet E. Bernard Jordan, and was a member of the Prophetic order of Mar Elijah (P.O.M.E).
About 80 invited guests witnessed the ceremonial event, including Jacqui Woods who said, “As a daughter of a minister, it warmed my heart to attend Brenda’s well-deserved elevation to both elder and prophet.”
In recent years, Ms. Culpepper served as pastor at the Shekinah Glory School of the Prophets under the auspices of Archbishop Alan B. Graves.
Ms. Culpepper has authored “Prophetic Protocol for the Proper Prophet,” a workbook which was designed to train those called to the prophetic ministry, and every Thursday, she can be heard on WDJZ in Bridgeport, Connecticut on her weekly show, “Prophet’s Portion.”
In 1988, Ms. Culpepper founded PepperCo Music Group, the second largest minority owned Gospel Music label, and in 1994, Connecticut Post named her Woman of the Year.
“Her devotion to others and her caring spirit are gifts she generously shares with other. Everything was just beautiful,” Woods said.
Also ordained was Elder Yvonca Michelle Moore, a Stamford native.
Ms. Culpepper, who was born in Bronx, NY, is married to Irvin Culpepper and has three adult children.
She holds the key to three U.S. cities.
