Obituary*28 Oct 1997 Robert B. `Pep` Culpepper Sr., 78, of 237 N. Harrisburg St., Steelton, PA, died Thursday in Community General Osteopathic Hospital. He was retired from UGI Utilities; was a member of First Baptist Church, Steelton, where he was a former choir and Pennsylvania Club member; and was a former member of the Capital Area Music Association.
     Surviving are his wife, Edith M. Culpepper; three sons, Robert B. Culpepper Jr. of Atlanta, Jeffery L. Culpepper of Athens, Ga., and Ronald A. Culpepper of Savannah, Ga; two daughters, Joyce Culpepper of Steelton and Barbara Culpepper Brister of Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
     Services will be held at noon Wednesday in his church. Burial will be in William Howard Day Cemetery, Swatara Twp. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday in the church. Friends will be received at 237 N. Harrisburg St., Steelton. Franklin Funeral Home, Steelton, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Mission, 611 Reily St., Harrisburg 17102, or Salvation Army, 1122 Green St., Harrisburg 17102.4
