Beth Keating is a former Supervising Attorney/Bureau Chief for the Competitive Markets Section of the Florida Public Service Commission, where she was responsible for representing the five Commissioners and technical staff on the analysis and implementation of new federal and state telecommunications legislation, as well as compliance proceedings. Immediately prior, she served as a senior attorney with the Commission handling a wide variety of complex telecommunications cases, and as a staff attorney handling electric and gas cases. Ms. Keating is well-versed in state administrative law, as well as federal and state regulatory codes pertaining to telecommunications companies specifically and all utilities generally. She is an active member of the Federal Communications Bar Association and has participated in the development and presentation of numerous continuing legal education courses regarding emerging technology policy development and related legislative initiatives. Ms. Keating's practice involves the legal representation of and policy consultation for competitive telecommunications companies, cable companies, technology companies, and natural gas utilities before state and federal regulatory agencies, as well as the Florida Legislature.
