- Arthur Culpepper, All-American Wide Receiver at Abilene Christian University
Arthur holds a BA in Psychology from Abilene Christian University, 1986, MA in Health Services Management from Webster University, 1993, and has a PhD from the University of New Mexico in Health Education & Health Care Finance, pending dissertation. He serves as a Deacon for the University Church of Christ in Las Cruces, NM. He is also a volunteer trainer/facilitator for the Character Counts program and does public speaking. He is a member of the Alumni Board for Abilene Christian University. In 1986 he was awarded All-American honors in football as a Wide Receiver for Abilene Christian University. He also broke their school record of 21 TD receptions in a career with 26 receptions. In 1986 he lead the nation in TD receptions and was listed 9th overall in receiving yards. After graduation, he enlisted in the Air Force (1989). There he receive two commendations, the Air Force Achievement Award 1991, and the Oak Leaf Cluster, for the Air Force Achievement Award 1993. As of Jan 2010, he was Director of Health Care Services for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians in the South Bend, Indiana area.
