Obituary*16 Jul 2008 Funeral services for William Odell Culpepper, 89 of Cusseta, Al will be Friday, July 18, 2008, 2:00 pm at Fredericks Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Lynn McClain and Jeff Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 17, 2008, 6-8:00 pm at Fredericks Funeral Home. Mr. Culpepper was born September 14, 1918 in Sylacauga, AL and died July 15, 2008 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Culpepper served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Guinn; a sister-in-law, Lucy Culpepper; a son-in-law, Dean Parker and a stepchild, Marshall Flournoy. Mr. Culpepper is survived by his wife, Evaie T. Culpepper; one daughter, Doris Parker; two sons, William G. (Linda) Culpepper and Donald P. Culpepper; a host of grand and great grandchildren; sister, Mavis (Frank) Wheeler; three brothers, Ed (Lilly) Culpepper, Reese Culpepper and Hugh (Charlotte) Culpepper; stepchildren, Preston Lamar (Katrina) Flournoy, Betty (Robert) White; Martha Flournoy and Rebecca (Roger) Thrower. A special thanks to Jesse Patton, his caregiver. Fredericks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.3
