I often heard my mother speak of aunts Alice, Mandy, Opheliaand Sallie. She was already grown by the time they died. She had several pictures of aunt Mandy. She would point out the home place of her aunt Ophelia on 14th Street in PC. Mother was born and raised in a house on the corner of 15th Street and 18th Avenue and most of these aunts lived within walking distance - except Sallie. Aunt Sallie lived out at Crawford near the old home place of William and Mary and also the cemeteries where a good many of them and their extended families are buried.3
