     Private in Terrell's Battery, GA Light Artillery. In his pension records, it mentions that one eye was damaged when a limb flew off a tree in battle. This might help identify him in later photographs.4,5

This is said to be James H. Culpepper and two of his sons. However, it is likely that this is either David W. Culpepper, or John Alexander Culpepper, and two of their sons. Note that David W. and John A. both served in the Civil War, and this elderly individual appears to be wearing a Confederate veteran's insignia of some sort, in his lapel. Any help in identifying this photo will be appreciated.11
